The Chairman of Ekpeye Council of Chiefs, Eze IKAKI IKAKI made the call in an interview with our correspondent, SANDRA KENNETH.
Eze IKAKI said the people of Okogbe community that suffered from a petrol tanker fire sometime ago need assistance from the Rivers State Government.
The Ekpeye traditional said companies operating in the area have shown wiliness to help the people but need the consent of the state government.
He also said traditional rulers in Ekpeye land are ready to play their role in ensuring that those in need of help are given attention.
