Egypt says its parliamentary elections will take place in two stages in October and November. The head of Egypt’s Supreme Election Committee, AYMAN ABBAS said half of the votes for the governorship election will take place on 18th and 19th of October, while the second stage of voting will hold on 22nd and 23rd of November. ABBAS explained that voters outside Egypt will also cast their ballots in two stages; on 17th and 18th of October, while those in the second stage will vote on 21st and 22nd November. The first phase of voting in Egypt which was scheduled for March was delayed after a court ruled part of an election law unconstitutional.
