EFCC officials have disclosed that the arrest of REUBEN ABATI yesterday was in connection with ongoing investigation into cases of fraud under the immediate past administration headed by former President, GOODLUCK JONATHAN.
According to a report quoting EFCC spokesman, WILSON UWUJAREN, ABATI is undergoing interrogation over alleged misappropriation of funds meant for the procurement of arms to fight Boko Haram insurgents in the north-east.
REUBEN ABATI was the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to former President JONATHAN.
