Deputy Governor Calls for Transparency in Health Programme

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, has called for stronger commitment, transparency, and collaboration among stakeholders in the health sector.

She made the call during the first-quarter review meeting of the Task Force on Primary Health Care at Government House, Port Harcourt. Odu stressed the need for honesty in addressing challenges within the healthcare system.

She warned that incidents where registered beneficiaries are still asked to pay for services could discourage participation in the programme.
