The list which was put together by Africa Report has three Nigerians in the top 10 which is inclusive of the music superstar. Dangote is number one in the list while famous poet & writer; Chimamanda Adichie sits on the number four position with Davido occupying the 7th spot. The report looks at individuals in Africa who control the levers of power across politics, business and the arts: from billionaire barons to unpredictable peacemakers and soft-power superstars.
This wouldn’t be the first time Davido would be attaining an impressive position on a list of influential Africans as his he has been recognized previously by compilers of this kind of publication, sitting well inside the top 10.
