The 3 convicts, Chiwendu Alozie, Wilfred Jumbo and Gift Amadi were tried for kidnapping, conspiracy to murder and murder after they were arrested in 2016 following an investigation by the Department of State Security Service.
Justice Chiwendu Nwogu in his Judgment said the court relied on evidence provided by the DSS and the confessional statements by the accused which he said were weighty enough.
Justice Nwogu said the court is convinced that three convicts committed the crime and the law can not look the other way.
