OMOLOLU-OLUNLOYO was granted bail in the sum of one million naira, as well as to surrender her international passport to the court.

Justice H.I SHAMAH made the ruling based on a bail application filed by the defence counsel, FATAI LAWAL.

The trial judge also ordered the accused person to provide a surety who must be a resident of Port Harcourt metropolis, with a verifiable address.

The surety must also be a civil servant of not below grade level twelve, and such a person must also present a letter of employment and staff identity card.

Our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR reports that the surety would also have to sign an undertaking to ensure that the accused person would not jump bail.

The matter was thereafter adjourned to 3rd of May for hearing.
