The Chinese government has ordered the closure of all North Korean companies operating in its territory by January.
The order is in line with the implementation of United Nations sanctions against the reclusive state, which is also to be extended to Joint Chinese and North Korean ventures.
China has already banned textile trade and limited oil exports with Pyongyang as part of international response to North Korea’s sixth and most powerful nuclear test.
The move comes after the United Nations Security Council voted unanimously for fresh sanctions on 11th September.
