The State Commissioner of Police, HAFIZ INUWA, previously told newsmen that nine people died in the fire resulting from the explosion at the Calabar Free Trade Zone on Sunday night.
But the Chief Medical Director of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Doctor THOMAS AGAN said hospital records shows ten deaths so far.
Doctor AGAN six dead bodies were brought into the facility, while four out of eleven persons have died in Intensive Care due to severe burns.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of the Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority, EMMANUEL JIME, has reportedly donated two million naira for the treatment of survivors of the fire incident.
