The president made this known at the opening ceremony of a three day conference and retreat of Senior Officers in Owerri, the Imo state capital.
While stressing that his administration has prioritize critical reforms in the Nigerian police force to solving various issues affecting the nation, the president also reiterated that the faith of his administration in the nation’s democracy remains unshaken.
He said the conference will avail officers the opportunity to discuss issues relating to the capacity of the Nigerian police force ahead of the elections in 2023, and also provide solutions to security challenges in the country.
