The Speaker of the House of Commons, JOHN BERCOW said though there will be no Prime Ministers’ Questions at the resumption of plenary, urgent questions, ministerial statements and emergency debates would be heard.
Meanwhile, Labour leader JEREMY CORBYN has joined other opposition groups in reiterating the call for the resignation of the Prime Minister BORIS JOHNSON, who has disagreed with the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling but pledged to respect it regardless.
CORBYN however said he would not be proposing a motion of no confidence, which could trigger a general election, until it was clear that the prime minister will seek an extension to Brexit to prevent a no-deal.
