Benue Ortom ,laments,says state govt administration cannot sustain staff wage bill.

Governor ORTOM lamented that the state government cannot sustain the wage bill, which is why it initiated a comprehensive staff audit in a bid to flush out suspected ghost workers from the system.

The Benue State Governor made the revelation in an interview with State House Correspondents in Abuja after a meeting at the Presidential Villa.

The Governor said the staff audit would last three months and would put the government in a better position to pay salaries of workers at both the state and local government councils.
