Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has advocated the adoption of electric watercraft for transportation across waterways in the Niger Delta.
Represented at an international conference in Rivers State University, the governor emphasized the need to reduce emissions in marine transportation. Speakers at the event also highlighted the importance of digitalizing marine transport systems.
Organisers noted that the conference aims to draw attention to the need for coordinated and environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
