Justice ADEMOLA is being prosecuted by the Federal Government alongside his wife, OLABOWALE, before an Abuja High Court.
The judge and his wife were jointly slammed with a fifteen-count charge, which has now been amended to eleven counts.
At the mention of the case in court today, the Prosecution counsel, SHEGUN JEGEDE told the court that the bailiff could not serve the charge on Justice ADEMOLA.
However; JEGEDE’s request to apply for substituted service was defeated after the defence counsel; JEPH NJIKONYE offered to accept the service on behalf of his client.
Following the development; the trial judge adjourned the arraignment to 13th December, with the consent of the parties.
Justice ADENIYI ADEMOLA is among seven superior court judges whose homes were recently raided by operatives of the Department of State Service.
