The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the successful upload of its 471 candidates for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Candidate Nomination Portal.
The party said the submission confirms President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima as its presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2027 general election.
According to the APC, the successful upload of the candidates’ details marks the completion of a key stage in its preparations for the elections and reflects its commitment to complying with the electoral timetable and guidelines issued by INEC.
The party also expressed confidence in its candidates and reaffirmed its determination to retain power in the 2027 general election.
