This is because, some members of the APC Campaign Council have accused the state coordinator of the campaign council, Patrick Tonye-Cole of sidelining and abandoning his responsibilities of brining everyone together.
The former Chief of Staff, Rivers State Government House, Chief Tony Okocha who read out the position of some other members of the campaign council, alleged that since their inauguration in Abuja, they are yet to meet on the way forward on the Presidential Candidate of the APC.
Chief Okocha who alleged that Tonye-Cole has refused to mention the name of the APC Presidential Candidate and his running mate in any of his campaigns, challenged the APC governorship candidate to make public any of his poster with the image of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.
Chief Okocha therefore called on the national leadership of the party to compel the PCC coordinator to do the right thing or step aside for those who are ready to handle the task.
On his part, the Rivers State Coordinator of ASIWAJU-SHETTIMA Independent Campaign Council, AUGUSTINE WOKOCHA while highlighting the achievement of the group in the state, expressed disappointment over the slow pace of activities of the Presidential Candidate Council.
