Akpom Will Prove His Worth At Lille –Bakker

Lille star Mitchel Bakker believes Chuba Akpom is doing everything to prove his worth at the club.

Akpom, who joined the Lille last summer from Ajax, has struggled to grab a starting shirt at the club.

Speaking with the club’s website, Bakker stated that he’s impressed with Akpom’s attitude and work ethic at the Lille.

“He’s a great guy, always smiling, who creates a good dynamic in the dressing room.

“He also trains hard. He’s in a period where he’s not playing a lot, but he’s really giving his all to prove that he’s a great player. I’m sure he’ll score some goals that will count.”
