A Port Harcourt High Court has awarded ten point eight million naira in damages against AMC Product Nigeria Limited, which is associated with Nollywood actress, IBANABO FIBERESIMA.Justice ADOLPHUS ENEBELI ordered the sum to be paid in favour of MONACHI CHINENYE who emerged as the winner of the Miss Earth beauty pageant of 2011/2012, as well as other entitlements that come with her winning.The orders were made by Justice ENEBELI while ruling on a suit instituted by CHINENYE through her lawyer, LINUS NDATIGH.Speaking in an interview with correspondent VICTOR EZEAMA, NDATIGH said although the court did not grant all their prayers, the ruling by Justice ENEBELE was commendable.In her reaction; the past Miss Earth winner, MONACHI CHINEYE lamented the unwholesome practices in the beauty pageant industry.
