A nine-year-old boy has died after being accidentally hit on the head by a bat during a baseball game in the USA. Kaiser Carlile was struck by a warm-up swing while acting as the Liberal Bee Jays’ batboy – a youngster who carries and arranges equipment – on Saturday The game in Wichita, Kansas was against the San Diego Waves in the National Baseball Congress World Series. Carlile, who was wearing a helmet, was taken away in an ambulance and his death was announced on Sunday.
