In a statement in reaction to the judgment of the Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja, the PDP described the ruling as compromised.
State Chairman of the PDP, FELIX OBUAH, in a statement released by his Media Assistant, urged supporters of the party that the judgment was a travesty of justice and rape on democracy.
OBUAH alleged that there was a conspiracy by the APC-led Federal Government against Rivers people, but said the alleged gang-up will amount to nothing in the end.
He said despite the nullification of the governorship election of NYESOM WIKE, he will continue to exercise the functions of his office by taking advantage a section of the Electoral Act that provides for an appeal within twenty-one days.
