The group said the conference should draw participation from all ethnic divides across the country in a bid to douse heightened tension due to various agitations.
The resolution to make the call was adopted at a peace meeting by the Northern Youth Coalition in Kaduna.
The coalition frowned at the spread of hate speech and secession bids that threaten the unity of Nigeria, and called on the three arms of government to present a common front to help protect the sovereignty of the country.
