US-Russia relations frost as Putin orders cut on diplomatic mission staff strength.

The decision by President VLADIMIR PUTIN to expel staff, which was made last Friday, is in retaliation for new US sanctions against Moscow.

With the expulsion, the US diplomatic missions staff strength would be cut down to four hundred and fifty-five, which is the same as Russia’s complement in Washington.
