The recycled soaps would thereafter be sent to people in need, through schools, hospitals and other charity organisations.
The project is inspired by the fact that five million bar of soaps that are left behind by guests in hotel rooms on daily basis always end up in landfill sites.
Clean the World, which is a not-for-profit organisation, has reportedly set up recycling centres in the United States and Hong Kong.
It has also entered into partnered with five thousand hotels internationally to recycle soap from nearly one million hotel rooms daily.
Part of the goals is to help rollback the death of children from diseases such as pneumonia and cholera, due to lack of better hygiene, which the United Nations Children Fund puts at one point four million a year.
