IGHALO reportedly picked up the injury while in action over the weekend in the Chinese Super League.
Reports say the Super Eagles player left the pitch in the 73rd rd minute of Changchun Yatai’s three-two loss to Shanghai Shenhua on Saturday.
IGHALO was immediately rushed to hospital, with the club expressing fear about the recurrence of an old ankle injury.
