The police have impounded over one hundred motorcycles around Choba axis in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. A senior police officer told our correspondent that the action was in compliance with the law on the restriction of commercial motorcycle operations in four local government areas, including Obio-Akpor. The police officer said the move against the Okada riders followed the discovery that criminals were posing as commercial motorcycle operators to commit crime.
