JAMB, WAEC Introduce N4,000 One-Off O’Level Verification Fee

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, and the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, have introduced a unified one-off fee of N4,000 for candidates verifying O’Level results for tertiary institution admissions.

The new system allows candidates to verify their results once through a dedicated JAMB platform, with the verified records made available to their chosen institutions.

The bodies said the initiative will reduce financial burdens, eliminate repeated verification payments and streamline the admission process while ensuring the security of candidates’ records.

Candidates have been advised not to pay O’Level verification fees directly to individual tertiary institutions.
