New Johannesburg Mayor drop plans of cycle lanes construction.

Mayor HERMAN MASHABA said the project would only be looked at once all the city’s roads had been tarred.

The African National Congress rolled out the project in part of the city in 2014 to encourage people to cycle.

But it was criticized by the opposition parties, saying the money should be used to provide services for poor people.
