The Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation’s security agencies for the successful rescue of pupils and teachers abducted in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
George described the rescue operation as reassuring, stating that it demonstrates the Federal Government’s commitment to safeguarding the lives of Nigerians.
He also praised the professionalism and coordinated efforts of the security agencies, noting that the successful operation has renewed public confidence in the country’s security architecture.
The council chairman urged security agencies to sustain the fight against criminality and appealed to Nigerians to support them by providing credible information that will help protect lives and property.
