In his welcome address; NBA President AUSTINE ALEGEH drew attention to the issue of conflicting orders by courts across Nigeria, and berated judges for the unwholesome practice.
ALEGHE expressed sadness that Judges were giving judgments that were capable of destroying the integrity of the Judiciary.
He called on the National Judicial Council and the Chief Justice of Nigeria to rise to the occasion and save the judiciary from imminent ridicule.
The NBA President who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, also said the body was concerned about the management of the Nigerian economy, which the NBA conference intends to address.
ALEGHE observed that unfolding events in the Federal Government under the leadership of President MOHAMMADU BUHARI in the area of the war against corruption and agitations by different groups would also be given attention.
