Analyst Faults Rivers Assembly for Endorsing President Tinubu for Second Term

Public affairs analyst Oraye Saint Franklin has criticised the Rivers State House of Assembly for endorsing President Bola Tinubu for a fresh term in office.

Speaking from Canada, Oraye said it “makes no sense” for lawmakers to appear on multiple television platforms to declare support for the President while their constituents continue to live in what he described as abject poverty. He accused the legislators of neglecting their primary responsibilities and failing to address the hardships facing the people.

The analyst urged Rivers residents to “show the lawmakers a red card” in the 2027 elections, insisting that their performance amounts to poor representation.

Oraye further alleged that the lawmakers are acting in the interest of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, rather than the people they were elected to serve.
