The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the rape and murder of Miss Success Anosike in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
Miss Anosike, a young orphan, was allegedly strangled to death by her neighbor at her residence. The arrest followed a report lodged by residents of Oyigbo.
Confirming the development, the State Police Command spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, stated that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department for further investigation.
