Ihunda Swears In New Appointees, Pledges Greater Development for Port Harcourt City LGA

The Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Allwell Ihunda, has sworn in some members of his cabinet and other political appointees, charging them to align with his vision of accelerating development in the council.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, Ihunda said his goal is to surpass the achievements recorded during his first tenure by implementing projects that will directly impact the lives of residents.

He assured that his administration remains committed to improving the welfare of the people and delivering quality governance at the grassroots level.

The council chairman urged the newly appointed officials to make the most of the opportunity to serve and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the local government.

Our correspondent reports that those sworn in include Dennis Ejekwu as Council Secretary, Glory Oparaodu as Chief of Staff, as well as several Supervisors and Special Advisers.
