Reacting to comments by Governor WIKE during the PDP rally in Etche yesterday, the Rivers APC said described them as wild and unconscionable assertions.
State Publicity Secretary of APC, CHRIS FINEBONE said neither the State Chairman of the party, Chief DAVIES IBIAMU IKANYA nor the APC candidate for Rivers State South-East Senatorial, Senator MAGNUS ABE had met INEC Chairman or personnel, as alleged by Governor WIKE.
The Rivers APC spokesman challenged Governor WIKE to go beyond making allegations and make details public to prove that such meeting took place.
CHRIS FINEBONE said the APC in Rivers State was ready for the forthcoming rerun elections as scheduled by INEC.
He advised the PDP not bother about the manner in which the APC was conducting its campaign, stressing that the party was at liberty to reach the electorate the best way it can.
