Election Rerun Drama,APC Rivers Dismisses claims about a purported plan to arrest leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state a red herring.

The Rivers APC was reacting to a statement made by the PDP at a media briefing yesterday, ahead of the rerun elections on 30th July.
 
State Publicity Secretary of APC, CHRIS FINEBONE said as a political party, the APC has nothing to do with security matters.

FINEBONE said no one or political party should connect the APC matters of security under any circumstances.

The APC spokesman recalled that the PDP has made such spurious claims in the past, especially before the last rerun elections on March 19, but no such things happened.
