The protesters are accusing some members of the Rivers State Judiciary of corruption based on recent actions and pronouncements that stalled the swearing-in of APC’s VICTORIA NYECHE of Port Harcourt Constituency One and ANDREW MILLER of Opobo-Nkoro Constituency.
Our correspondent report that the mass demonstration started around 7AM around the General Post Office, adjacent to the judiciary complex.
By 8AM, the protesters matched to the gate of the judiciary complex and later moved to the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex where the leaders addressed the crowd.
Our correspondent reports that the protest march was briefly interrupted by security operatives, who later withdrew following the interview of the protest leaders.
