The Police Service Commission has unveiled an online recruitment portal for the take-off of a recruitment exercise that will see the enlistment of ten thousand personnel into the Nigeria Police Force.

 

The unveiling of the recruitment portal was done by the Chairman of the PSC, Sir MIKE OKIRO with a declaration that the recruitment process would be free and there would be no short cuts into the Police Force.Sir OKIRO said the police recruitment exercise, which begins on 1st of April, is based on the directive of President MUHAMMADU BUHARI at the National Security Summit in Abuja last year.OKIRO said the Commission will be recruiting candidates into the three entry points, which are spread across Constables for Senior Secondary School Certificate holders; Cadet Inspectors for OND, NCE and A-Level certificate holders, and Cadet ASP for first degree and HND holders.He said there will also be recruitment into the Specialist cadre of the Nigeria Police Force.The information was contained in a statement released by the Head of Press and Public Relations of the Police Service Commission, IKECHUKWU ANI.
