The Nigeria Army intends to relocate the Tactical Command of the Fourteen Brigade in Ohafia, Abia State to the commercial city of Aba.
The Commanding Officer of the 14 Brigade, Brigadier General LAWRENCE FEJOKWU said the move is because Aba has become the hot bed of the pro-Biafra agitation.Brigadier General FEJOKWU also said the commercial city has been witnessing a resurgence of kidnapping with the increase in the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Movement for the Survival of the Sovereign State of Biafra.Speaking at the 144 Battalion located at Asa in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, the Army General appealed to the pro-Biafra protesters to rescind their decision to bear weapons and channel their grievances to the appropriate authorities.
