Brendan Rodgers sacked as Leicester City manager after dropping into Premier League relegation zone

Rodgers was sacked after the club’s 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace.

The result saw the Foxes slip into the bottom three with ten games remaining.

Earlier today, Leicester announced that a mutual agreement had been reached with the 50-year-old, who had been in charge since February 2019.

Rodgers leaves with coaches Chris Davies and Glen Driscoll.

This means goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell and first-team coach Adam Sadler will take charge of their fixture against Aston Villa at King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
