In an interview with Today FM’s Sandra Kenneth, a resident of the community Awala Uwuma said they last experienced power supply in April after the rainfall destroyed electric poles in the area.
She said the lack of power in the area has affected economic activities.
Awala said all effort made by residents to fix the poles have not yield any result as they are now struggling to complete the contribution they are making towards the project.
