Nigeria, seven-time winners of the competition have been drawn in Group B of the zonal qualifiers of the tournament alongside Ivory Coast and Ghana.
“We have been screening players to get the best to represent the country and we are getting closer. On Wednesday (today) we will release the provisional squad for the tournament,” Bosso said.
Bosso also expressed confidence in his team’s ability to qualify for the tournament in Mauritania despite their short preparation.
“Everybody is going there (Togo) to compete for a slot. We are in the same group with Ghana and Ivory Coast and I believe it is a blessing in disguise,” Bosso told The PUNCH.
“We are training for a competition not just for one match. We are confident we will qualify from this group and move to the next group.
“The most important thing is get prepared and get the mindset of the players very positive, and forget it.”
