This latest fire comes about 72 hours after similar fire incidents in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local government areas.
In a conversation with Today FM , an eye witness said the fire emanated from a local boat loaded with illegal petroleum products popularly called kpofire.
The eyewitness told Today FM’s Sandra Kenneth that the fire lasted for about two hours before it was put out.
We also gathered residents of the area attacked men of the Rivers State fire service and destroyed their fire truck when they arrive to put out the fire.
