5.7 magnitude earthquake strikes Zambia.

Reports say the Friday morning quake of magnitude five point seven on the Richter scale was felt in the Zambian town of Kapula, which lies near the borders of Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

 

There are no reports of casualties, although the quake caused panic among residents of south western Tanzania.
