KARIM HOSSAM BANNED FOR LIFE

Egyptian tennis player, Karim Hossam, has been banned from the sports for life after being convicted of multiple match-fixing offences.

 

Twenty-four-year-old Hossam was also ordered to pay a fine of fifteen thousand dollars after he was found guilty of sixteen counts of corruption.

 

In addition to match-fixing and betting, HOSSAM was also alleged to have provided inside information and failed to report corrupt approaches between 2013 and 2017.
