NSCDC JOINS SECURITY OPERATIVES FOR EKITI ELECTION

No fewer than fifty thousand security operatives will be on duty during the governorship election in Ekiti State on Saturday.

 

Out of the estimate, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, is deploying three short of twenty-thousand operatives for the election in Ekiti.

 

The NSCDC operatives will join some thirty thousand personnel of the Nigeria Police Force mobilized by the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.

 

Confirming the latest development; the Commandant General of NSCDC, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu, said there would also be sniffer dogs, surveillance vehicles and ambulances.
