The High Court in Kenya has cleared the way for all candidates in the presidential election in August to take part in the repeat poll later this month.

The ruling sets aside previous decision by the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission to feature on the two main contenders in the ballot papers for the rerun on 26th of October.
The judgment comes a day after the main opposition candidate, RAILA ODINGA announced his withdrawal from the election because of failure by the electoral commission to meet his demand for reforms.
You will recall that the Kenyan Supreme Court had annulled the August vote won by incumbent UHURU KENYATTA due to irregularities.
