More than forty-two thousand people evacuated from their homes near an active volcano in Indonesian
More than forty-two thousand people have been evacuated from their homes near an active volcano in the Indonesian city of Bali.
Authorities warned that the volcano on Mount Agung could erupt any moment, following which the Red Cross moved in its rescue team.
A distance of about twelve kilometers around Mount Agung has also been marked as a restricted zone, with the highest level of alert.
Indonesia's national volcanology centre said in a statement that the mountain's seismic energy is increasing and has the potential to erupt.
