South African twins placed on US terrorist blacklist

Two South Africans have been placed on the terrorist blacklist of the United States.

Reports say BRANDON-LEE and TONY-LEE THULSIE who are twins, were blacklisted for allegedly plotting attacks against the US Embassy in Pretoria and Jewish facilities.
The twins are alleged to have been acting on clso accused of planning to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group.
The State Department said following the threat posed to the US security, the twins had since been named Specially Designated Global Terrorists, ahead of the resumption of their trial on 20th October at the South Gauteng High Court.
They were arrested in July last year and charged with conspiracy and incitement to commit the crime of terrorism and also conspiring and attempting to commit acts associated with terrorist activities.
