Kenya Polls: Parliamentary guard wins seat to Parliament.

a man who used to serve as a guard for Kenyan parliamentarians and government officials has won a seat in the country’s parliament.

Reports say NIMROD MBITHUKA MBAI won election to serve as the Member of Parliament for Kitui East constituency.


The former police officer defeated the incumbent MP in Tuesday election and will now join the man whom he used to guard as an equal, after they were both elected members of the new National Assembly.
