Man electrocuted as heavy flooding hit Port Harcourt.

A man simply identified as ELIJAH has been electrocuted around Mile One market in Port Harcourt in aftermath of the flooding in parts of the Rivers State capital due to torrential rainfall over the weekend.

In other parts of the city, many homes have been submerged, particularly around Rumuolumeni community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of the State and parts of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.


One of the victims, INYESOEMI BENIBO told our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR that he and his neighbours lost valuables as a result of the flooding.



Other flooded parts of Port Harcourt include Ikwerre Road and parts of Aba-Road and Nta-Wogba.
