FG to disburse N243bn as refunds from Paris Club loan.

The Federal Government has distributed the sum of two hundred and forty-three point seven billion naira to the thirty-six states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory Administration as refunds from the Paris Club Loan.

Four Niger Delta states, including Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Delta and Bayelsa, sliced off the biggest chunk of the refund, with ten billion naira each.

 

Abia State got five point seven billion naira; Cross Rivers State received over six billion naira; Imo State got over seven billion naira, while Gombe State received the smallest share of four point four billion naira.

 

Details of the distribution of the money were contained in a statement released by the Director of Information in the Federal Ministry of Finance, SALISU DAMBATTA.
